HONDURAS

This past January, Alexa participated in a service trip with Leadership Mission International in Comayagua, Honduras, teaching marginalized young women English, leadership, and community development skills. Aligning with her passion for service, she also acted as project photographer, capturing images used in fundraising campaigns to support the school. Living on campus, the team helped with day-to-day tasks as well such as farming, cooking, and cleaning, while building meaningful and lasting relationships with the students. Alexa will always be grateful for the team and women at LMI, and she plans on returning in the future.
