PERSPECTIVE

Alexa Buermeyer is a recent graduate of Virginia Tech with a Bachelor's Degree in Advertising and a minor in Spanish. She has experience in creative media and storytelling within marketing and branding. 

What makes her stand out are her creative problem-solving skills, adaptability, and optimistic approach. She also has experience with content creation using software such as Adobe Creative Suite as well as marketing platforms like LinkedIn, Meta, and HubSpot.

PASSIONS

Cultural exchange: Alexa just returned to the U.S. in July after spending a few months living in Spain, working and studying, immersing herself in the culture while practicing Spanish.

Balance: She is also a graduate of the 200-hour teacher training through the Kunga School of Yoga and looks forward to deepening her practice while sharing it with others.

Service and connection: This past January, Alexa spent time volunteering in Honduras, teaching English, leadership skills, and community development—an experience that reinforced her commitment to connection and service.
